Engaging dialogue with Cabinet Secretary Hon. Susan from the Ministry Of Health, focusing on the optimization of timely intern posting. A joint commitment was made to foster consensus and take a consultative approach with all stakeholders to ensure that the perennial delay of posting medical is resolved. We made reference to the earlier commitment that interns would be posted in February and agreed to pursue that even though ministry expressed delay in budget approval from treasury. We are to have more engagement next week to ensure the internship impasse is resolved and posting is done. The earlier communique from Ministry indicating posting would be done in July was withdrawn hence not a point of focus anymore. More detailed updates to follow in our Ufungamano Kamkunji scheduled for 20th/2/2024.
