KMPDU Secretary General Dr. Davji Atellah and National Chair Dr. Abidan Mwachi are proudly representing KMPDU, COTU–Kenya, and Public Services International (PSI) at the 113th International Labour Conference (ILC) in Geneva.
As part of the Committee on the Application of Standards, they are carrying Kenya’s voice to the global stage, advocating for:

Stronger protection against biological hazards,

Decent work and fair pay in the care economy,

And the universal enforcement of workers’ rights and dignity.
Their presence reaffirms our union’s commitment to shaping global labour standards while ensuring Kenyan healthcare workers are never left behind.
