Doctor’s union KMPDU has issued two weeks strike notices for four counties, over failure to honor collective bargaining agreements. Speaking in Nakuru after a meeting with the union’s national advisory council, Secretary General Dr. Davji Atella, said the counties have failed to honor agreements on promotions and salary increments. The counties affected are Kajiado, Kilifi, Nakuru and Embu. Dr. Atella said the doctors will not return until their grievances are resolved. He also called for a review of the new Social Health Insurance Act.
