The Kenya Medical Practitioners Pharmacists and Dentists Union wants universal health care which was part of the Kenya Kwanza manifesto to be included in the bipartisan talks. The union is calling on the ministry of health to address the shortage of health workforce as promised in the Kenya Kwanza manifesto to improve health service delivery in the country. The union says it will stage a process on September 12th to petition the ministry to absorb more health care workers.
