We are proud to join fellow health sector unions from across Southern Africa for a meeting by the PSI – Public Services International`s Southern African Sub-regional Office in Johannesburg, South Africa.
This meeting is a platform for sharing and exchanging information, experiences, and solidarity between health sector trade unions in Southern Africa, while also learning from the other regions (East Africa, West Africa), experiences and perspectives on the process of setting up the network.
Topics of discussion are such as the struggles for quality public healthcare for all, issues affecting the public provision of universal healthcare, and challenges encountered in the health sector of the varied countries.
Through collaboration and coordination, we can make a real difference in the health of our continent. Excited to learn from other regions and build solidarity towards a common goal of improving public healthcare for all.
