More than 300 doctors working in Kenya’s Public health facilities in the capital Nairobi will down their tools beginning this Friday, the Doctors’ Union has announced. Among their grievances include a delay in the remittance of their July salaries and poor working conditions, which include poor quality Personal Protective Equipment. Should their grievances not be met, then the doctors union has warned that it will escalate the situation to a nationwide strike. We are now joined by Dr. Dennis Miskella, an official of the doctors’ union. For more news, visit sabcnews.com and also #SABCNews, #Coronavirus, #COVID19, #COVID-19News on Social Media.
