RED NOTICE: KMPDU South Rift Branch Issues Ultimatum to Laikipia, Nakuru & Kajiado

Doctors in Laikipia, Nakuru, and Kajiado have 7 days to act or face industrial action!

During the KMPDU South Rift Branch AGM, held as part of our broader review of the 2024 Return to Work Formula (RTWF) and CBA implementation, it became clear some counties are still in open violation.

While progress has been made in key areas; salary arrears, internship placements, postgraduate training, promotions, and medical cover; Laikipia, Nakuru, and Kajiado are yet to meet their obligations. Red Notices have been issued.

Deadline: May 24. No compliance, no service.

Doctors in Marsabit, Kakamega, Kiambu, Nakuru, Laikipia, and Kajiado remain on high alert. The union stands ready to act.

We acknowledge the Ministry of Health’s renewed effort under the new Cabinet Secretary. But let this be clear: if counties don’t match this momentum, we will act decisively.
