We were part of an impactful solidarity meeting with doctors from Vihiga County who, along with Kisumu, Bomet, and Nyamira, have yet to receive their salaries. It’s unacceptable that these hard-working professionals continue to suffer due to management inefficiencies and administrative gaps.
We’re pushing back against any injunctions that would prolong the delay of salaries and other unfair labor practices. We discussed how to organize our structural power to make sure everyone is on board, including the doctors on contracts who are facing undignified terms.
We will continue the conversation in Kakamega, and head to Kericho. Our message remains the same: the counties need to either style up or ship out. We stand together in solidarity to ensure that every worker is treated with the respect and dignity they deserve.
