Today at the GLU Engage Transfer Project workshop, we had an important Leadership Engagement session centered on building workers power in à world grappling with the multiple crises of neoliberalism. We then proceeded to have a NEC meeting where we discussed the Return to Work Formula (RTWF) following the recent conclusion of the doctors’ strike, our discussions were aimed at developing a matrix to ensure the effective implementation of the RTWF that will see our members conditions of work improve. As leadership, this was a very crucial process that will guarantee sustained engagement with all our employers while leveraging on industrial relations expertise of our friends and partners across different sectors and countries to ensure the dignity of the Kenyan doctor is upheld at all times.
