Today, KMPDU engaged with the State Department for Public Health and Professional Standards to address the issue of basic salary arrears owed to doctors. Together, we validated the list based on the 2017–2021 Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) and confirmed the specific amounts due to each affected doctor.
The Principal Secretary committed to ensuring that the arrears will be included in the April 2025 payslips. Doctors with any concerns or discrepancies are advised to contact their respective HR departments directly for clarification. For doctors under the State Department for Medical Services, validation is scheduled for Thursday, 17th April 2025, with a payment plan to be announced thereafter.
In addition, payments are ongoing for doctors who had exited county service as well as for those whose banks previously lacked IFMIS numbers. KMPDU remains steadfast in ensuring that no doctor is left behind.
