On May 10th 2023, we signed a recognition agreement between KMPDU and KUTRRH, this is very instrumental as it will enable effective representation of all doctors in the institution through the Collective Bargaining Agreement. This great achievement is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the union Leadership, and will pave the way for negotiations that prioritize the welfare and rights of doctors.
This is a significant step towards ensuring that ALL doctors in the Republic of Kenya are unionized, and are accorded a voice in this dynamic world of work. Whether in a large, medium, or small public and private medical facilities across the country.
The solidarity and stability of the union has been strengthened with this recognition agreement and we are confident that subsequent CBA negotiations will result in positive outcomes for doctors and the medical sector as a whole
