The first batch of doctors, including those whose contracts lapsed and those due to lapse by the end of August, have begun receiving their 3-year contract letters with full salary plus 31% gratuity.
Today on 17th of July 2024 ,the KMPDU have signed an addendum to the Return-to-Work Formula dated 8th May 2024, with the Ministry of Health posting 1,210 medical interns. Interns began collecting their appointment letters today and are scheduled to commence their internships on 1st August 2024.
