Kevin Oyowe is an experienced IT Consultant, and Health Informatician specializing in the design and development of scalable digital innovation solutions.

He successfully led and contributed to major health technology projects across Kenya and the U.S., including HITSystem, CATSystem, Kenya National Cancer Registry (KNCR), Covid Tracking System (Unified Government of Wyandotte County Health Department), and The COPE Project (University of Kansas Medical Center).

Currently an IT Consultant, Kevin's service beyond technical work includes a strong advocacy for the rights and welfare of healthcare workers in Kenya, driving digital transformation efforts and issue-based advocacy for doctors.

Kevin is an active contributor to healthcare research and publications focused on leveraging web, mobile, and AI technologies to improve maternal, child health, and cancer outcomes.

A member of the OpenMRS global community, Kevin Oyowe participates in collaborative development, knowledge sharing, and implementation discussions advancing open-source health systems worldwide.

His consulting expertise includes IT systems interoperability, data sharing, cloud architecture, application software development, AI integration, ICT trainer/educator, innovation mentorship, embedded electronics, and robotics.

Kevin completed a Medical Research Exchange Program at the University of Kansas Medical Center focusing on global health, cancer studies, and cross-cultural collaboration.

His career journey also includes key roles at CHS Kenya and KEMRI-FACES, strengthening health information systems, data integration, and program analytics.
